Schultz & Williams’ direct response team is pleased to partner with American Prairie Reserve located on the high plains surrounding the Missouri River in northeastern Montana.

Since 2004, the goal for building American Prairie Reserve is to stitch together three million acres of existing public lands using private lands purchased from willing sellers. When this goal is achieved, the Reserve will be the largest nature reserve in the continental United States, a refuge for people and wildlife preserved as a significant part of America’s heritage.

Today, the Reserve has achieved a habitat base of 399,379 acres. Of this total, 91,588 acres are private lands owned by the Reserve and 307,791 acres are public lands leased by the Reserve. Wildlife species that live on and around the Reserve include mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds. Rebuilding and protecting these wildlife populations means resilient and rich habitats will be preserved.

Schultz & Williams is currently working with the Reserve, assessing its current membership program and developing a plan for a robust three-year multi-channel direct response membership campaign. The program and plan will position the Reserve for growth, focusing on engaging new prospects and existing constituencies through acquisition, digital list building, renewals, philanthropic appeals and member/donor cultivation.
