Mike has been a member of the Schulz & Williams team since 2008. He began as a production coordinator in direct mail, where he learned valuable lessons about how the firm operates and the ways that S&W’s services to our clients contribute to their, and our, success. His accounting studies at Neumann University provided a natural progression toward his current role at S&W.

Mike is responsible for the firm’s financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax compliance and other reporting tasks. He creates and maintains internal controls to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial activity and works with trusted external accounting partners to complete and file business taxes and carry out the annual review of the year’s activity.

Along with oversight duties, Mike is also very engaged with account and production teams, clients and vendors. This gives him a good perspective on current operations and the ability to maintain controls. He is constantly looking to increase efficiencies, while maintaining the business model that works best for Schultz & Williams.
