Mike brings more than 20 years of experience to his work in developing compelling communications projects for universities, schools and other nonprofits. This experience includes planning and writing case statements and related materials for many major fundraising campaigns, among them, billion-dollar comprehensive campaigns for Rutgers University and City of Hope Cancer Center. He has worked on smaller campaigns for organizations such as Temple University, Choate Rosemary Hall, Villanova University School of Law, Princeton Day School and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation.

Along with research and writing content for these projects, Mike has often conducted focus group research, helped shape messaging strategies and collaborated with designers on creative concepts.

In addition to his work in development communications, Mike has completed student recruitment, branding and marketing projects for clients such as George Mason University, NYU’s Stern School of Business, the Wharton School and Independence Blue Cross. Previously he worked as a writer and project manager at Kelsh Wilson Design and for Drexel University.

Based in Philadelphia, Mike has been in practice as an independent writer for more than a decade and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in English from Lehigh University.
