Lora Lynn Jones has been an award-winning marketer, copywriter, communications strategist, and professional fundraiser. She has been a ghost writer for two books and a fundraising course in direct marketing and has worked in the non-profit, association, and commercial sectors for more than three decades. In January, Lora Lynn joined Schultz & Williams as a senior consultant in direct response and looks forward to helping S&W’s client achieve their goals.

Prior Experience

Early in her career, Lora Lynn served many non-profit organizations working for the direct marketing agency in Richmond, Virginia whose clients ranged from small humanitarian aid, non-profit organizations to large political and international religious organizations. Clients ranged from Holy Land Christian Mission (now Children International), Missionaries in Africa, World Literature Crusade, House of Power, WETA, Boys Town, Scarritt College to St. Lakota Indian Mission and National Camps for the Blind.

Lora Lynn was Senior Vice President at the ad agency The Stone Group, Inc. (TSG). TSG specialized in educational, political, and commercial advertising. Lora Lynn’s clients included Boston College, Literacy Volunteers of America, Council for Inter-American Security, Nicaraguan Relief and Educational Foundation, Animal Welfare League, World Mercy Fund, Challenger Center for Space and Education, Stratford Hall Plantation, and several large political organizations.

Lora Lynn also has spent years helping on the client side in various roles for the National Women’s History Museum in Alexandria, VA serving as multi-channel marketing advisor, copywriter and direct response production coordinator helping NWHM with their new donor acquisition campaigns, membership renewal, list strategy and premium programs.

Lora Lynn has also been an independent consultant for several small non-profits helping them develop and grow their programs as well as their donor databases. She has been recognized in Who’s Who in Sales and Marketing, Who’s Who in Advertising, Prominent Women in Advertising and more recently won Non-Profit Pro’s Gold Award for Fundraising Excellence for Membership Renewal.
