Jessie joined Schultz & Williams, Washington, D.C. in 2018.  She brings more than 25 years of fundraising, marketing and organizational development experience to the firm.

Jessie has specialized in the wildlife and environment sector, leading development efforts at local, national and international organizations. She served as vice president for development at three environmental advocacy organizations—National Parks Conservation Association, National Wildlife Federation and Defenders of Wildlife.  In each of these roles, she worked with the CEO and members of the Board to build a strong major gifts program, including planning and leading a $50 million comprehensive campaign at the National Parks Conservation Association.

She also served as director of major and planned gifts at the World Wildlife Fund, where she established the planned giving program and the Partners in Conservation annual giving circle. Most recently, Jessie was director of development at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital, where she set up the development program and created funding opportunities and diversified revenue sources.

Her areas of expertise include major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation support, annual giving, event planning, and Board development.

Jessie holds a bachelor’s degree from Wells College (Aurora, NY) and is a graduate of National Cathedral School (Washington, D.C.).
