Cathy began her work with Schultz & Williams in 2018, helping to manage the capital campaign for Cosley Zoo in Wheaton, IL. Working out of her Chicago office, Cathy brings ten years of successful fundraising plus ten years of solid business experience to the firm. Her deep knowledge of and connections to the philanthropic community in the Chicago region are a plus for nonprofit clients throughout the area.
Cathy helps nonprofits develop resources to maximize their impact on the communities they serve. Her clients have included Northern Illinois Food Bank (serving 13 counties), Aspire (developmental disabilities) and People’s Resource Center (basic services and adult education), among others. She also established fundraising best practices for Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry in her role as the organization’s first development director.
For nearly 20 years, Cathy has volunteered her leadership skills and development expertise to benefit her community. She has served on the boards of the Student Excellence Foundation, West Suburban Philanthropic Network and United Way of Wheaton/Carol Stream. At People’s Resource Center, she joined the organization’s development committee. Cathy has also held several leadership positions within her church, centered around strategic planning, youth and adult education programs and social justice work.
Cathy received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
