Ann Satterthwaite has more than 35 years of experience with nonprofit institutions as a consultant, staff administrator and Board member. Prior to serving as vice president of institutional advancement at the University of the Sciences (Philadelphia), she served as founder and president of The Ann Satterthwaite Company, Inc., providing fundraising and marketing consulting services to more than 23 nonprofit organizations.

This is Ann’s third tenure at Schultz & Williams. Prior to starting her own firm in 1998, she served as vice president at S&W. Over the course of her career, Ann also held positions as executive director of the Taylor Community Foundation (Ridley Park, PA), associate vice president for institutional advancement at Drexel University and director of publications at Haverford College, where she received multiple regional and national awards for marketing and development publications.

Ann was named Fundraising Executive of the Year in 2010 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. She served as chair of the Association’s Franklin Forum in 2006 and was on the nominating committee for National Philanthropy Day from 2006 to 2009. Ann was a member of the Board of the Planned Giving Council of the Pennsylvania Prison Society, Philadelphia Friends of Outward Bound, Fairmount Park Council for Historic Sites and Haverford College Campus Arboretum Association. She is currently on the Board of Trustees of Friends’ Central School and is also on the Board of Managers of Haverford College.
