The Reading Terminal Market, which opened to the public on February 22, 1893, has a rich history in Philadelphia. Today, it is not only a popular gathering, eating and shopping spot, it’s one America’s largest and oldest public markets, housed since its opening in a National Historic Landmark building. The market offers an incredible selection of locally grown & exotic produce, locally sourced meats and poultry, plus the finest seafood, cheeses, baked goods, and confections found anywhere.
