Theresa Leinker, a professional consultant in fundraising and marketing, brings more than 14 years of experience in the philanthropy sector—serving on both agency and client sides of nonprofit organizations—to her work for Schultz & Williams.
Theresa spent a decade at Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm for the nation’s largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital, based in New Brunswick, NJ. There, she served in leadership roles in development, strategic planning, communications and cause-related marketing.
Theresa joined the S&W team in 2013. In her client work for the firm, she has provided temporary staffing, including annual giving and direct response services for Children’s Hospital Foundation in Washington, D.C.; development and grant writing as temporary director of development for the Philadelphia Education Fund; and strategic development and communications for Cardiovascular Research Foundation (New York City) and Cleft Palate Foundation (Chapel Hill, NC).
Theresa holds a bachelor’s degree in English and economics from Muhlenberg College and is a candidate for the Master of Business Administration degree at Villanova University. Her passion is helping nonprofits grow through the intersection of development and marketing disciplines.
