Margie Garrett, Senior Associate–Margie Garrett has more than 20 years of development experience working for education, social service and faith-based organizations. Frequently affiliated with smaller nonprofits, she has built a career as a strong development/public relations generalist with particular knowledge, experience and skills in communications and management.

Margie served as Director of Development and Public Relations for Saunders House (Wynnewood, PA), Development Officer for WHEELS of WELLNESS (Philadelphia), Director of Development for Rosemont College and Director of Development for St. Barnabas Mission for the Homeless (Philadelphia). In these capacities, she achieved solid fundraising results by working closely with board members and other key constituents. She also worked as a development writer and researcher at Villanova University and as a development coordinator for Friends Journal, a monthly magazine of Quaker thought and life.

Margie’s volunteer affiliations include Chestnut Hill College and The Haverford School. She has a bachelor’s degree from Chestnut Hill College.
