Dell L. Fascione, Vice President of Marketing and Communications – Dell Fascione brings 27 years of nonprofit marketing and membership experience to Schultz & Williams through her hands-on management and senior level positions held at some of Philadelphia’s top cultural destinations. Her experience ranges from copywriting and production management of marketing materials to planning, coordinating and executing comprehensive marketing and membership sales & operations strategies. As Vice President for Marketing at the Philadelphia Zoo, Dell managed all aspects of the Zoo’s marketing, sales and membership programs. Dell led a team of professionals through the Zoo’s most successful marketing and advertising campaigns achieving a record-breaking annual attendance of 1.5 million visitors. Dell also led strategic marketing and consulting services for the New Jersey State Aquarium at Camden from 1991-1993. She developed and implemented the pre- and post-opening marketing and membership campaigns and cultivated 18,000 charter member households prior to its opening to the public in 1992. As part of the Zoo’s consulting services, Dell organized and documented a comprehensive membership operations plan for the Philadelphia Museum of Art. From 1982-1985, she directed the sales and promotions department at The Franklin Institute, one of the nation’s foremost science museums and cultural destinations. Since coming to Schultz & Williams in 2005, Dell has worked on marketing and membership audits and plans for clients such as the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor; Avampato Discovery Museum (now the Clay Center) in Charleston, West VA; the American Association of Museums; and the Los Angeles Zoological Association. Since December 2006, Dell has been S&W’s lead consultant working with Delaware County Community College. Under Dell’s leadership, the College has established a new brand identity, logo, tag line and awareness building marketing campaign. Dell has established a comprehensive approach to marketing the College that includes advertising, direct mail and college-wide customer service initiatives. Dell’s undergraduate work in Social Services, and her certificate in Management for Cultural and Nonprofit Organizations from LaSalle University’s School of Business Administration, adds significantly to her ability to meet the distinctive challenges and goals of nonprofit organizations. |
