Carole W. Karsch, Senior Consultant – Since 1998, Carole Karsch has brought senior development and management experience to Schultz & Williams’s clients by serving as an interim senior development staff person at the National Constitution Center, Lankenau Hospital, Temple University and the American Cancer Society. Using her expertise in individual major gifts and capital campaigns, Carole served as campaign counsel to the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Lourdes Health System, the Rosenbach Museum and the Support Center for Child Advocates. She has been responsible for the timely execution of detailed campaign feasibility studies and plans for the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Penn School of Nursing, Main Line Health, WETA, the Kimmel Center, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Community College of Philadelphia. Immediately prior to joining Schultz & Williams, Carole was Assistant Executive Vice President of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. In this role she integrated endowment and annual giving, initiated a $100,000 annual gift level and a Legacy Society and served as development advisor to the Federation’s 26 constituent agencies. Carole also served 15 years in development at the University of Pennsylvania. She held the positions of Associate Director of the billion dollar campaign and Director of Capital Giving and Gift Planning. In this role she managed Penn’s million+ prospect pool and the prospect assignment process. Carole has extensive experience serving as development staff for senior administrative and volunteer leadership. Carole holds a bachelor and a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and serves as a Board member of Penn’s Center for Advanced Judaic Studies. She has been on the faculty of conferences for CASE, AFP, the Center for Responsible Funding and United Jewish Appeal. Carole has served on the boards of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Gratz College and as the only female President of Har Zion Temple. |
