January 2003 – Schultz & Williams, Inc., a full-service development, marketing, and management consulting firm dedicated to servicing the needs of nonprofit organizations, announced the promotion of Jessica A. Harrington to the position of vice president, direct response. Harrington had been director of marketing services since joining the firm in September 2000. Prior to coming to Schultz & Williams, Harrington ran her own consulting business and before that, worked at Craver, Mathews, Smith & Company, a direct mail fundraising firm located in Washington, D.C. She has done work for such clients as Habitat for Humanity, CARE, Operation Smile and Heifer Project International. At Schultz & Williams, Harrington develops strategic direct marketing plans for all of the firm’s direct response clients. She also manages the execution of those plans from creative and design through mailing and analysis, and performs donor master file audits. Clients currently under Jessica’s supervision include international relief organizations, zoos, museums and social service agencies. “Our philosophy is that our clients must simultaneously pursue development, marketing and management goals in order to achieve their institutional objectives and ensure long-term stability,” said L.
