June 2010– Schultz & Williams Direct (S&W Direct) continues its tradition of excellence with recognition at the Benny Awards! S&W Direct recently took home a Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) 2010 Benjamin Franklin Award for Marketing Excellence (the “Benny”) as well as an Honorable Mention, adding to S&W’s growing list of achievements in the field of direct marketing. More than 160 direct marketing professionals from the region were in attendance earlier this month, as S&W Direct received the Benny for work on The Planetary Society’s Advanced Renewal campaign in the Direct Mail, Non-Profit category. With S&W Direct’s help, The Planetary Society’s Advanced Renewal campaign exceeded all original projections in terms of response rate, average gift and net income. S&W Direct also received a Benny Honorable Mention in the nonprofit Multi- Media category for the firm’s efforts on the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Tiger Matching Campaign. This was the Society’s most successful fundraising campaign to date—bringing in over 427% more money than expected! The Benny Awards have been an annual tradition in Philadelphia for over 35 years. This year’s submissions were reviewed by a panel of direct marketing experts from the Direct Marketing Association of New York. Amid tough competition, S&W Direct was one of thirty winners and three honorable mentions for this event, which honors not only nonprofit direct marketing results, but also those from across many industries.
